Lavender from Kőröshegy
Seven hectares of lavish Balaton panorama, picturesque scenery and idyllic atmosphere, unmistakable Provence, offer the lavender of Kőröshegy, where for almost two months, from June to July, French lavender can be freshly harvested from July to mid-August, and lush English lavender from July to mid-August.

Valley Bridge at Kőröshegy
The 1.87-kilometre-long and 88-metre-high structure, inaugurated in 2007, is an impressive sight and is considered a major engineering achievement. The viaduct not only facilitates transport between Budapest and Lake Balaton, but also offers beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding hills and roads, making it a popular photo opportunity for tourists.

Festetics castle in Dégi
The castle was built between 1810 and 1815 by Antal Festetics, son of Lajos Festetics, the Imperial and Royal Chamberlain who founded the estate. The castle was closed in 2018, and for years only its English park, Lake Serpentine, the lake around the burial mound and the footpaths across the lakes were open to the public.

Ságvári Hide-and-seek
The road leads through steep loess walls and enchanting scenery to the Bújó-lik in Siófok, which can be reached by following the yellow sign from the road next to the cemetery in Siófok. The Bújó-lik is a tunnel more than 21 metres deep and about 2 metres wide, with an average height of 1.75 metres. On the way there, you get a taste of the Somogy landscape and the panorama of Lake Balaton.
